Dr. Anya Rivera
MD · Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
Anya leads the surgical side of the practice and every procedure consultation. She is the partner most likely to talk you out of surgery you don't need — and to plan carefully the one you do.

AN HONEST READ
Body work sits between treatment and procedure, and honesty matters most here. Non-invasive contouring and skin-tightening can refine and reduce, but they don't replace surgery or weight change — and we'll say so plainly. Anya and Jordan assess together when a surgical conversation would serve you better, so you're choosing between real options rather than being sold the one in the room.

Questions
No. Non-invasive contouring refines and reduces in the right candidate; it won't address significant loose skin or muscle separation. If surgery would serve you better, we'll tell you and set up a consultation.
Most non-invasive treatments show gradually over eight to twelve weeks as the body clears treated tissue. We'll set realistic expectations and a sensible number of sessions up front.
Most treatments are well tolerated — a cold, pulling, or warming sensation depending on the device. Nothing that requires anesthesia or downtime.
